I give all the stars for the experience! The the meal was good (if not great) with a surprisingly ambitious menu which included a few nice vegetarian options and a selection of excellent wines very reasonable. The welcome we received could not have been warmer. Josy and Georges received our party of 4 on Easter Monday when all the others were closed. We were the only guests so we had a private diner and audience to our hosts' fabulous name-dropping stories and sparkling personalities. The room was warmed by a charming fire and we felt so welcome. The restaurant is "in the middle of nowhere" walking-distance from fortress ruins and in the region of many spectacular "Peinture Bourbonnais" churches and the Abbey of Chantelle. If you are in the area DO NOT MISS THIS UNIQUE PLACE! We look forward to seeing Josy and Georges this summer on their lovely patio! Thank you to you both! Tess & Louis- Service

Josy vous explique les bons petits plats qu'elle va nous mijoter avec passion, que des produits frais. Le poisson étant sa spécialité, nous nous sommes régalés. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Es war wirklich absolut fantastisch. Sowohl das Essen, als auch der Charme als auch der Service, und die Köchin liest die Speisekarte vor und erklärt alles im Detail. Das ist noch wirklich das alte Frankreich, nachdem man Sehnsucht hat. Preise gehoben, aber in sehr guten Verhältnis zur Leistung.

Que dire de plus que ce qui est déjà dit sans tout dévoiler. Un restaurant comme on en rencontre peu , des gens décalés mais adorables ,Une cuisine gourmande avec des produits frais , une belle voie lyrique pour nous accompagner au café... bref on a du mal à partir. A vos GPS, allez y , ça vaut largement le detour.
